Every morning, I drive down four miles of street that’s perfectly straight and runs behind a train track and has limited access. So it’s where people race and it’s where people dump cars. Never a dull drive to work on Crazy Street.

I had that same gen of grand cherokee, got rear ended, and it bent in basically the same place, right at the C pillar between front and rear doors.

made it scarily hard to get out. Had to sit across my centre console and kick the driver’s door open

Scary. Wouldn’t be an early choice of car for me.

I have a ‘97 GMC Safari that is probably epic in its noncrashworthiness. As well, the vehicle has 240k miles on it...

it was 96 when we got it and a brand new v6 accord. obviously the accord was a safer better looking smarter choice for me, but parents said it was too fast so I was forced to drive the 4wd monster for the safeness :D

That thing is properly messed up. Why did they even bother to tow it there instead of straight to the crusher?

I’ve wondered about that. Probably easier just to ditch it. But it would have required a tow...

It would have required a tow to get there from where it got balled up.
